Mattresses tested according to DIN EN 16890
All labelled Träumeland mattresses have been tested and passed the safety requirements of the European DIN standard EN 16890:2017. According to the current mattress standard, our mattresses have a safety zip without a zipper so that the child cannot open the cover of the mattress. To open the zip, a temporary tool (for example, a paper clip) must be used.
You can find out more in the instruction manual.

All covers of Träumeland mattresses (except for our children's and youth mattresses) are now compliant with the standard.
According to the current mattress standard, our mattresses have a safety zipper without the zip, so that the child can not open the cover of the mattress. To open the closure, a temporary tool (eg a paper clip,...) must be used.

Your mattress has been lovingly rolled, which means the quality of the materials is in no way adversely affected. Once the outer film has been carefully removed, the mattress will ‘plump up’ and its full functionality will unfold in a matter of minutes. The edges of the mattress may take a little longer. Please note that it can take 2-3 days for the mattress core to reach its full volume once removed from its roll packaging. You can use the mattress as normal during this time.
TIP: By rolling the mattresses, we can reduce the transport volume massively, cut CO2 emissions, save packaging material and be kind to our environment.

Perfect ventilation & breathable materials for peaceful sleep
Our baby and children's mattresses are specially designed to promote air circulation and quickly wick away moisture. Integrated ventilation channels ensure that heat does not build up and no heat accumulation occurs. The result: a consistently comfortable sleeping environment, less sweating and a more peaceful, restful sleep without heat build-up.

Sustainable sleep from the very beginning
Better Dreams stands for consistent sustainability. Not as a trend, but as an attitude. Every single production step is scrutinised, optimised and made transparent.
✔ Climate-neutral production in Austria
Our entire company, including our 10,500 m² production hall, is certified as climate-neutral.
✔ Raw material residues are reused
Foam residues are processed into new composite foam or comfort pads, and fabric waste is recycled into raw fibres. Packaging boxes? They are recycled.
✔ High-quality materials from Europe
We use materials that come exclusively from Europe to ensure fair production.
Made in Austria
We are not just a manufacturer of baby and children's mattresses, we are a fourth-generation family business, run by Gabi and Hannes Nösslböck. Each mattress is made in Upper Austria with careful craftsmanship, close cooperation with regional partners and fair working conditions. Production is carried out with the attitude that has always characterised the company: to manufacture baby and children's articles as if they were intended for one's own children.
Träumeland is personal, down-to-earth and responsible.
People who know how valuable baby sleep is work here.

Better Dreams Mattresses - What makes them special?
Only carefully selected, non-toxic materials are used.
The goal: a safe sleeping environment, free of heat buildup.

Not sure which mattress is right for your baby/child?
The Träumeland mattress finder will help you find the right one
Two degrees of firmness for every stage of development
A mattress with two degrees of firmness, always providing the right support for the respective age.
The firmer baby side protects against flat head syndrome and provides optimal support for the sensitive spine.
The softer toddler side ensures greater comfort and ergonomics later on.
Integrated moisture protection
The integrated moisture protection keeps the mattress dry and hygienic – particularly important in the first few months of life, when little accidents happen more frequently. This prevents moisture from penetrating the core, and you can remove the cover and wash it at up to 60°C.
Breathable baby mattress
Optimal air circulation thanks to vertical and horizontal ventilation. Ventilation channels and air-permeable materials wick away moisture and keep the mattress dry.
Supports optimal development of the spine and head
The mattress offers the right balance of stability and elasticity so that your baby does not sink in too deeply. This supports the natural shape of the spine and distributes pressure evenly on the head, preventing head deformities.
