Mattress cover
Multifunctional-cover „sleep safety“ with TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ – the fibre for a sustainable future
Stitched with cosy fleece, this creates a soft lying surface for your baby. In addition to the integrated wetness protection function, the mattress cover contains natural fibre TENCEL™ which prevents sweating.
- antimony & pollutant tested
- air-permeable
- washable up to 60 °C
- suitable for tumble dryer
With the innovative TENCEL™ X REFIBRA™ technology, Lenzing AG in Austria has found a way to recycle cotton scraps from old clothes into new, pure white cellulose fibers. These can then be reused for new products. TENCEL™ X REFIBRA™ fibers come from nature and return to nature. They are fully compostable and biodegradable, even in seawater, and therefore do not generate microplastics.
* Wetness protection means that small amounts of liquid can be absorbed by the cover if, for example, your baby's nappy is too full. Large amounts of liquid cannot be absorbed.

Mattress manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 16890
This Träumeland mattress has been manufactured in accordance with the safety requirements of the European DIN standard EN16890:2017.
In accordance with the current mattress standard, our mattress has a safety zip without a slider so that children cannot open the mattress cover. A tool (e.g. a paper clip) must be used to open the zip.
You can find out more in the instructions for use.

All covers of Träumeland mattresses (except for our children's and youth mattresses) conform to standards.
In accordance with the current mattress standard, our mattresses have a safety zipper without a zipper so that the child cannot open the cover of the mattress. To open the zipper, a temporary aid (e.g. a paper clip, etc.) must be used.

Your mattress has been lovingly rolled, which means the quality of the materials is in no way adversely affected. Once the outer film has been carefully removed, the mattress will ‘plump up’ and its full functionality will unfold in a matter of minutes. The edges of the mattress may take a little longer. Please note that it can take 2-3 days for the mattress core to reach its full volume once removed from its roll packaging. You can use the mattress as normal during this time.
TIP: By rolling the mattresses, we can reduce the transport volume massively, cut CO2 emissions, save packaging material and be kind to our environment.

For baby and children's mattresses, a tolerance of -0/+2.5cm applies to both the mattress width and length. The height of the baby mattress must be within the tolerance range of +0/-10mm. For children's and youth mattresses, the tolerance is +/- 10mm.
If the size difference is outside the tolerance range, please contact our customer service.
A template is required for all mattresses with special dimensions (except square mattresses).
Baby mattresses with Träumeland "sleep safety" or "sleep dry" covers do not require an additional cover for moisture protection, provided the baby is wearing a diaper. These covers have the moisture protection function* integrated in the mattress cover. Additional wetness protection pads not only stop moisture but also ventilation and should therefore not be used.
* Wetness protection means that small amounts of liquid can be absorbed by the cover if, for example, your baby's diaper is too full. Large amounts of liquid cannot be absorbed.
Our mattresses are rolled and vacuum-packed for transportation reasons. To allow the materials to unfold optimally after unpacking, we recommend that you do not store the mattress in a rolled state for too long.
Our recommendation:
A rolled mattress should be stored in its packaging or rolled state for a maximum of 3 months.
If the mattress is stored for much longer, the foam core may not unfold completely or only very slowly after unpacking. As a result, the mattress may temporarily or permanently not fully regain its original shape.
Our tip:
Open the mattress as soon as possible after purchase and give it sufficient time to fully unfold after unpacking. As a rule, the mattress will reach its final shape within a few days.
