What does the TOG value mean for sleeping bags?
The TOG value describes how warm a sleeping bag is: the higher the value, the better the sleeping bag retains heat. Select the TOG value according to the room temperature:

Always choose a sleeping bag that is suitable for the room temperature, not the outside temperature.
The ideal sleeping temperature is 18–20 °C: your baby should be warm around the neck but not sweaty.

Find the right size
The optimal size of your sleeping bag depends on the baby's height: from the shoulders to the toes + 10 cm = perfect sleeping bag size.
There should be approx. 10 cm of space between the baby's feet and the end of the sleeping bag to ensure enough room to kick.
