Cotton

Cotton is one of the most well-known and most widely-used natural materials. Cotton is breathable and highly durable. Therefore it is particularly suitable for use as a mattress cover fabric.

Soft foam

A material that is often used in mattresses is the so-called soft foam. This is a polyurethane foam, which has the following characteristics:

Low density (about 20-30 kg/m³)
Compression hardness > mattress is rather hard
Small, uniform pores >> low air permeability

Washable Fleece

100 % polyester | Washable fleece is a washable hollow fibre that is ideally suited for babies with allergies. It has high resilience and adds cushioning to Träumeland mattress covers.

Mattress tested according to DIN EN 16890

All labeled Träumeland mattresses have been tested for and passed the safety requirements of the European DIN standard EN16890:2017.
In accordance with the current mattress standard, our mattresses have a safety zipper without zipper, so that the child can not open the cover of the mattress. To open the closure, you need to temporarily use a tool (eg a paper clip, ...).
