Träumeland mattresses
Step-by-step guide to unpacking the mattress
Here you will find valuable information on the correct care of your mattress after purchase, including practical tips on unpacking, unrolling and care afterwards.
We spend many hours of our lives in bed, so a good mattress is crucial. To ensure that choosing the right mattress is not too expensive, we have developed the Graz mattress. It is the most stable and firm model among our Träumeland mattresses, ideal for stomach sleepers or heavier people.
Structure of the mattress
The Graz mattress has a high-quality cold foam core with a density of 35 kg/m³. The 7-zone comfort cut supports the body evenly and adapts ergonomically to the load zones. The mattress is approx. 20 cm high.
After unpacking, the mattress unfolds within 24 hours and should be laid flat.
Zoning
The Graz mattress has a 7-zone comfort cut that supports and relieves the body in key areas. The zones are designed so that the shoulders and pelvis can sink in a little deeper, while the waist and lumbar area are supported in a stable manner.
This zoned structure is based on the natural body profile and ensures that the spine adopts an ergonomically correct position, regardless of whether you sleep on your back or side.
As usual, the zones allow dynamic adaptation to different body shapes and sleeping positions.
Firmness level
The Graz mattress is rather firm (H4) - medium firm (H3) and offers a neutral, universal lying sensation.
The mattress's cold foam offers a balanced combination of stability and comfort. This makes the Graz suitable for people who prefer a well-supporting lying sensation without having to sacrifice a pleasant sink-in feeling.
Care instructions
Washing the mattress cover
The mattress cover is easy to remove and can be washed at up to 60°C. To do this, simply open the zipper and separate the cover into two parts. This allows you to wash the individual parts separately if your washing machine is smaller. We generally recommend that you wash both parts separately so as not to overload your washing machine. After washing, you should not put the cover in the tumble dryer but leave it to air dry. Due to the composition of the fabric, drying does not take long.
Turning & flipping the mattress
We also recommend turning the mattress regularly, i.e. swapping the head and foot ends. This contributes to even use and maintains the dimensional stability of the foam core for many years.
Remove dust & mites
The mattress core itself can be vacuumed regularly with a clean upholstery nozzle or beaten through to reduce dust and mites. You can find more information on caring for your mattress here. Please do not use chemical cleaners or pure steam cleaners, as these can damage the foam.
New smell of the mattress
As with a new car, a mattress may smell a little NEW at first. However, this smell usually disappears after a few days. Make sure the room is well ventilated during the first few days.
Mattress cover
The Graz cover is made of a breathable material mix of polyester and viscose, which ensures a pleasantly dry sleeping experience. The quilted fibers also increase moisture absorption and improve temperature regulation.
Thanks to its elasticity, the cover adapts well to the body without creasing. Thanks to the full-length zipper, the cover can be divided into two parts and washed separately.
Sleeping climate
A good sleeping climate is created by the combination of breathable foam structures and a cover that quickly releases moisture. The open-pored structure of the cold foam supports constant air circulation so that the mattress remains dry and hygienic.
Regular ventilation of the bedroom improves the room climate and also supports the ventilation of the mattress. The bedroom should also not be overheated. Instead, aim for cooler temperatures. Here are some tips for an optimal sleeping climate:
- Ventilate regularly (for approx. 20 minutes once a day or 5-10 minutes several times a day)
- In summer, you should ventilate early in the morning and late in the evening
- Make sure you have a proper base - slatted frame, so that your mattress can also breathe
Warning
Our mattress core is made of cold foam, which is flammable. The mattress must therefore never be exposed to an open flame or strong heat sources (such as heaters, lighters, candles, electric heaters - which heat up strongly). The foam ignites quickly and can release a large amount of smoke.
- Keep away from naked flames and heat sources:
This product must not be placed near naked flames, hotplates or other heat sources to avoid the risk of fire and serious injury. - Remove all packaging before use:
Remove all packaging components, including foil, tapes and labels, before using the product to avoid injury or accidents. - Do not use the product if it is damaged:
Do not use the product if individual parts are broken, torn or damaged. Continued use could cause injury.
Service life
The Träumeland Graz mattress is designed to provide reliable sleeping comfort for many years. Due to the stable foam quality, we recommend replacing the mattress after approx. 8-10 years to ensure optimum hygiene and support in the long term.
Disposal
Once the mattress has reached the end of its life, it should be disposed of via the local bulky waste or recycling center. Cardboard and packaging material can be recycled separately according to the relevant symbols.
We spend many hours of our lives in bed, so a good mattress is crucial. The Mondsee mattress is ideal so that the decision for the right mattress and firmness level is not too difficult. A mattress that is flexible - with two different firmness levels and different lying sensations.
Structure of the mattress
Thanks to its carefully designed structure, the Träumeland Mondsee mattress offers a gently supportive, adaptable lying sensation. Inside is a multi-layered core made of high-quality cold foams with densities of 35 and 45 kg/m³, which together provide a harmonious combination of elasticity and stability. Additional lumbar inserts made of soft foam support the lower back and promote an ergonomically healthy sleeping position.
The total height of the mattress is around 20 cm.
After unpacking, the mattress unfolds within 24 hours and should lie flat.
Zoning
The Mondsee mattress has a precisely designed 7-zone comfort cut, which is based on the body's natural pressure points. The shoulder zone allows the body to sink in gently, while more stable areas in the pelvic and lumbar regions provide optimum support. The lumbar inserts improve relief in the middle of the body, while the zone guidance provides ideal support for the spine for both side and back sleepers. The mattress adapts ideally to different body shapes and sleeping positions thanks to the zone cut.
Firmness level
The Mondsee mattress offers two different firmness levels: soft (H2) - medium firm (H3). The firmness level can be adjusted by simply turning the mattress.
Care instructions
Washing the mattress cover
The cover can be divided using a zipper and can be washed at up to 60 °C. Wash the parts separately and leave to air dry.
Turning & flipping the mattress
The Mondsee can be turned as desired. Regular turning, ideally every two months, extends the life of the foam and maintains its adaptability for many years. However, the mattress should not be turned upside down, but only turned horizontally.
Remove dust & mites
The mattress core itself can be vacuumed regularly with a clean upholstery nozzle or beaten through to reduce dust and mites. You can find more information on caring for your mattress here. Please do not use chemical cleaners or pure steam cleaners, as these can damage the foam.

The Mondsee cover is made of 67% polyester and 33% viscose and is quilted with a 100% polyester fleece. The fiber structure used is breathable, soft to the touch and ensures that moisture is quickly released.
