Returns - adult mattresses
Avoiding returns in the interests of sustainability
Every return not only means additional work for you, but unfortunately also has a negative impact on our environment. In order to do something good for you and the environment, we would therefore like to ask you to be careful when selecting products.
Which products can be returned?
Träumeland only accepts returns of products that were purchased via our webshop.
Products that you have purchased from another retailer cannot be returned to us. The same applies to products that have been specially made for the customer (e.g. customized mattresses). Adult mattresses that have already been used can only be returned within the 60-day trial period - this period only applies to adult mattresses and not to pillows, toppers or the entire children's & baby range (children's mattresses, baby mattresses, teenage mattresses, sleeping bags, etc.).
Does your product have a technical or visual defect, or was the wrong item sent?
Then please send us a photo or video to info@traeumeland.com. Our team will then contact you immediately and clarify everything else. You can also find further information in our terms and conditions.
Are there any return shipping costs for you?
If you return damaged or incorrectly delivered goods, this is free of charge for you. The return shipment within the statutory 14-day period is free of charge for you (Träumeland bears the costs). However, the initial shipping costs will not be refunded with the purchase price, but will be retained by Träumeland. If you return your adult mattress after 14 days, the costs for the return shipment (approx. 50€ by a forwarding agent) will be charged or retained.
Not convinced by our adult mattress after 60 days?
If you don't like your adult mattress within the test phase (60 days after the day of delivery), you can request a return in the following steps:

Send us photos and the reason for your return to info@traeumeland.com

You will receive all the necessary return information from us and we will organize the collection directly from your home. The costs of the return shipment (for undamaged goods) will not be covered and will be deducted from the refunded purchase price. (approx. 50€ with a forwarding agent)

After arrival of the mattress, it will be checked internally and after up to 7 working days you will be refunded the purchase amount less the return costs. (Costs for the return shipment will not be refunded)
Your mattress does not have to be returned in its original packaging.
The following conditions apply to returns within 60 days of receiving the adult mattress.
At Träumeland, we want you to be sure that your new mattress fits you perfectly. That's why we offer you the opportunity to test your mattress at home for 60 days. To give your body enough time to get used to the new sleeping surface, we recommend that you use the mattress for at least 30 nights before deciding to return or replace it.
For us to be able to take a mattress back during the test phase, it must be in a hygienically perfect and well-maintained condition. Normal signs of use after the trial period are of course not a problem. Please note, however, that we cannot fully credit mattresses that are clearly soiled or damaged.
Please use a fitted sheet or mattress protector during the entire test phase to avoid stains and signs of wear. The mattress must not show any visible soiling, damage or other signs of wear and tear and must have been used exclusively for private, non-commercial purposes. It should also have been placed on a suitable bed frame or slatted frame with sufficient support.
The test phase does not apply to mattresses that are returned due to improper use, missing fitted sheets, commercial use or after the 60-day period has expired. Irrespective of this, your statutory warranty rights naturally remain unaffected.
A full refund cannot be guaranteed in the event of
- tears or damage to the cover or mattress core
- heavy or extensive soiling, for example due to liquids, stains or discoloration
- Excessive deformations that indicate unnatural use
- intense unpleasant odors caused by pets or smoke
- failure to use a fitted sheet or mattress protector during the test phase
If any of these impairments are present, we will contact you directly. In this case, we will have to retain up to 50% of the purchase price to cover the costs incurred.
Within what period can I now return goods?
Products such as the entire children's range, toppers or pillows must be returned or handed over to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. In the case of adult mattresses , there is an extended return period in the form of a guarantee of 60 days after receipt of the goods.
You can return products such as toppers or pillows to us within the statutory 14 days, and the return shipment is free of charge for you. However, the shipping costs will be deducted from the purchase price. Please use a returns slip from one of our partner companies.

Warranty & guarantee
At Träumeland, you don't just get a mattress, you get the good feeling of lying correctly. All mattresses are covered by the statutory warranty of two years from the date of delivery - so if a material or manufacturing defect occurs during this time, we will of course replace or repair it. Normal wear and tear, stains or damage caused by incorrect use are excluded.
We also give you our 60-day satisfaction guarantee: you can test your mattress at your leisure during this time. If you realize during this time that it doesn't suit you after all, you can return or exchange it. The only important thing is that you have used it with a mattress protector or fitted sheet and that it is clean, undamaged and in perfect hygienic condition. This guarantee is a voluntary additional service and of course applies in addition to your statutory rights - because at Träumeland you should simply be able to sleep well
