In order to ensure a restful sleep for the offspring, it is important to adjust the sleepwear optimally. We do not want to make any general statements here. However, one thing is essential: you should not be deceived by the thickness of the sleeping bag material, because materials have different thermal values.
The unit of measurement "TOG" can be used as a guide. "TOG" shows the thermal resistance of textiles and informs how warm your baby is in a sleeping bag at a certain room temperature. The higher the "TOG" value, the warmer the baby is. Sleeping bags have different "TOG values". According to the indicated "TOG value" the sleeping clothes should be adjusted. Here you will find a corresponding recommendation for orientation:
Die Wahl der richtigen Größe für deinen Schlafsack mit Beinen ist entscheidend für Sicherheit und Komfort. Unsere Schlafsäcke mit Beinen sind in Größen von 74 cm (für Babys ab 6 Monaten) bis 110 cm (für Kinder bis etwa 5 Jahre) erhältlich. So kannst du sicherstellen, dass dein Kind bequem schläft und sich frei bewegen kann. Wir empfehlen bei Schlafsäcken mit Füßen eher immer eine Größe kleiner zu wählen, da diese eher größer geschnitten sind. Als Anhaltspunkt gilt jedoch folgende Formel: Körperlänge deines Babys - Kopflänge + 10 cm = Schlafsackgröße

0,5 TOG: Für warme Sommernächte ab ca. 24 °C. Leichter Sommerschlafsack für maximale Atmungsaktivität.
1,5 TOG: Für milde Temperaturen von ca. 20–24 °C. Ideal als Übergangsschlafsack für Frühling und Herbst.
2,5 TOG: Für kühlere Nächte bei ca. 16–22 °C. Ein Ganzjahresschlafsack für wohlige Wärme und Geborgenheit.
