With TENCEL™, a new age of fibre technology has been introduced. TENCEL™ is a cellulose fibre and is obtained from wood in an environmentally-friendly process. It unites the advantages of many fibres: as fine as silk, as strong as polyester, as easy to care for as acrylic, as cool and pleasant to the touch as linen, as warm as wool; it also absorbs much more water vapour than cotton.

Cotton

Cotton is one of the most well-known and most widely-used natural materials. Cotton is breathable and highly durable. Therefore it is particularly suitable for use as a mattress cover fabric.

  5. Danger of accidental swallowing of products with zip fasteners:
    Products with zips contain small parts that could be swallowed by little children. Supervise them at all times during use and ensure that the zip is properly closed.

Many parents are a bit confused when it comes to sleepwear. Is the baby too warm or is it freezing? Just as there are hot summer nights and cool winter months outside, there are also temperature differences at night in the nursery. In order to ensure a restful sleep for the offspring, it is important to adjust the sleepwear optimally. We do not want to make any general statements here. However, one thing is essential: you should not be deceived by the thickness of the sleeping bag material, because materials have different thermal values.

The unit of measurement "TOG" can be used as a guide. "TOG" shows the thermal resistance of textiles and informs how warm your baby is in a sleeping bag at a certain room temperature. The higher the "TOG" value, the warmer the baby is. Sleeping bags have different "TOG values". According to the indicated "TOG value" the sleeping clothes should be adjusted. Here you will find a corresponding recommendation for orientation:

Since these are approximate values, you should also listen to your own gut feeling and feel, for example, in the neck of the baby. Just imagine that you re lying in the sleeping bag...! TIP: The sleeping bag has a double adjustable ventilation. The two vents on the sleeping bag can be opened by zippers and allow optimal air supply as needed. Thus, overheating of your baby is counteracted.
Sleeping bags are the better alternatives to duvets. Using sleeping bags for babies instead of traditional duvets significantly reduces the risk of heat accumulation or covering your baby. Your baby sleeps more peacefully – they won't wake up because the duvet has disappeared. A sleeping bag also provides the feeling of safety familiar from the womb.
