Mattress cover
TENCEL™ cover with breathable venting material
Sustainable cover with TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ - the fiber for a sustainable future - with side ventilation band and 8% recycled cotton.
Quilted with cozy fleece, this creates a soft lying surface for your child. The mattress cover contains natural fiber TENCEL™ which prevents sweating.
- permeable to air
- Washable up to 60 °C
- Suitable for the gentle dryer
A side ventilation band ensures even more air permeability.
With its innovative TENCEL™ X REFIBRA™ technology, Lenzing AG in Austria has found a way to upcycle cotton scraps from old clothes into new, pure white cellulose fibers. These can then be reused for new products. TENCEL™ X REFIBRA™ fibers come from nature and return to nature. They are fully compostable and biodegradable, even in seawater, and therefore do not produce microplastics.

Our children's mattress / youth mattress is suitable from the age of 2 and is suitable for children up to 15 years or up to a body weight of 90 kg or 120 kg.
INFO: Parents can also lie on the mattress with their child to help them fall asleep. It is important that the mattress is turned regularly (head and foot sections) so that the weight load is balanced.
Your mattress has been lovingly rolled, which means the quality of the materials is in no way adversely affected. Once the outer film has been carefully removed, the mattress will ‘plump up’ and its full functionality will unfold in a matter of minutes. The edges of the mattress may take a little longer. Please note that it can take 2-3 days for the mattress core to reach its full volume once removed from its roll packaging. You can use the mattress as normal during this time.
TIP: By rolling the mattresses, we can reduce the transport volume massively, cut CO2 emissions, save packaging material and be kind to our environment.

No problem - please contact a Träumeland specialist retailer near you or send us a special size request.
A template is required for all mattresses with special dimensions (except square ones).
Due to the material used, special sizes are unfortunately not possible for the Zirbenduft product.
For baby and children's mattresses, a tolerance of -0/+2.5cm applies to both the mattress width and length. The height of the baby mattress must be within the tolerance range of +0/-10mm. For children's and youth mattresses, the tolerance is +/- 10mm.
If the size difference is outside the tolerance range, please contact our customer service.
Our mattresses are rolled and vacuum-packed for transportation reasons. To allow the materials to unfold optimally after unpacking, we recommend that you do not store the mattress in a rolled state for too long.
Our recommendation:
A rolled mattress should be stored in its packaging or rolled state for a maximum of 3 months.
If the mattress is stored for much longer, the foam core may not unfold completely or only very slowly after unpacking. As a result, the mattress may temporarily or permanently not fully regain its original shape.
Our tip:
Open the mattress as soon as possible after purchase and give it sufficient time to fully unfold after unpacking. As a rule, the mattress will reach its final shape within a few days.
Sustainable children’s mattress
For small dreamers with a big responsibility
Our Better dreams mattresses are based on a single principle:
from the very start, babies deserve the safest, healthiest and most sustainable sleeping environment.
For over 50 years, Träumeland has been developing mattresses that breathe, protect and support. They are produced in an environmentally friendly way in Austria – with plenty of handcrafting, short supply chains and a genuine awareness of our children’s future.

Sustainable sleep right from the start
Better dreams stands for consistent sustainability. Not as a trend, but as a philosophy. Every single stage of production is scrutinised, optimised and made transparent.
✔ Raw material offcuts are reused
Foam offcuts are processed into new composite foam or Comfort pads, and fabric scraps are recycled into raw fibres. Packaging boxes? They are returned to the cycle.
✔ High-quality materials from Europe
We use materials sourced exclusively from Europe to ensure fair manufacturing practices.
Made in Austria
We are a family-run business. Every mattress is created through meticulous craftsmanship, close collaboration with regional partners and fair working conditions. Production is guided by the philosophy that has always defined the company: to manufacture baby and children’s products as if they were intended for our own children.
Träumeland is personal, down-to-earth and responsible.
